This mixer is downright monstrous with 40 inputs and a 32-channel core, including 32 XLR mic/line inputs and 8 AUX inputs, which can be paired for stereo. It features Midas PRO series preamps and 96kHz/32-bit floating-point audio processing.
It has a Klark Teknik DSP engine for 96 kHz audio processing and also has a 4-band full parametric EQ on all channels and dynamics processing. Add to that 6 AUX sends and 16 DCA groups.
The user experience is felt, not seen, with the large 10.1-inch full-color touchscreen. It's more than a pretty screen; it's the focal point of your command center that provides one-touch access to scans, faxes, email, and other functions for more automation and added efficiency. It features 32 touch-sensitive 100 mm faders and 32 high-end rotary encoders with LED rings, as well as a variety of buttons that are already pre-configured to serve the most essential auto parameters of a mixer.
But that's not all - the Ui24R also supports the AES50 digital audio protocol, which means you can daisy-chain the Ui24R to the Soundcraft stage box for additional functioning. It provides 48 channels of digital input/output expansion and network redundancy backup.
