The d&b audiotechnik D40 is a three-channel stereo power amplifier representing the pinnacle of German audio engineering. It is designed as a precision power management core for driving d&b’s premium stereo sound systems and near-field monitoring environments. This 2U rack-mounted smart stereo amplifier utilizes d&b’s proprietary Class D stereo digital amplification technology, delivering a powerful configuration of 2×1250W@8Ω for stereo main channels and 1×2500W@4Ω for the subwoofer channel. Tailored for high-end recording studios, broadcast stations, and boutique audio systems, the D40 is engineered to meet the highest standards of audio fidelity.
The D40 features a high-resolution stereo DSP processor integrated with the d&b Complete Stereo Database, enabling one-click loading of professional stereo tuning parameters and phase alignment settings. The d&b Stereo Network provides real-time monitoring of left-right channel power balance, stereo soundstage, and protection status.
